BARREL POEM....

STARING
DOWN A
BARREL….
Where
I always go to,
It
is raining all of the time!
But
many die where they go to,
And
they all have a gun to survive!
And
the ones that tried to live there,
They
all died in their lives!
And
not even a gun could save them,
From
dying in their lives!
For
you need rain to keep you living,
Or
you will die under the Sun!
For
no Desert can save you from dying,
While
no rain comes in the Desert’s Sun!
And
the ones who tried to travel there,
They
all had guns to save their lives!
But
if you have no water to save you,
No
gun can save your life!
And
as I have traveled deep into the Desert,
I
had no gun to save my life!
And
as I traveled to the Tallest Mountain,
I
had no gun to save my life!
And
as I traveled crossed many Nations,
I
had no gun to save my life!
For
I dare to travel where I dare to travel to,
Because
I do not fear to lose my life!
And
as no gun has never saved me,
I
had a few flashed before my eyes!
And
I had no gun to protect me,
While
the other threatened my life!
And
as I stared down that barrel,
As
it was ready to take my life!
I
laughed at the person who was ready to pull that trigger,
And
I told him, I am not afraid to die!
And
as I am willing to pull any trigger,
To
end the ones who try to take my life!
I
am not afraid of any person,
Nor
am I afraid to take someone else’s life!
For
if one does try to threaten me,
I
only stare into their eyes!
And
ask them if they are afraid of dying,
Right
before my eyes!
Now
as I have stared down many barrels,
I
have stared down a few that could have taken my life!
But
each barrel that does flash before me,
I
stare
it between my eyes!
And
as each barrel that is to be given,
To
take some other one’s life!
I
fear not even a barrel,
That
could even take my own life!
But
as I have tried to live in the Desert,
I
needed
the water to survive!
And
where I dared to live in the Desert,
It
has taken thousands and thousands of lives!
And
as the water that was needed,
Not
even a gun can save your life!
For
you need the water to live in the Desert,
Or
you are surely going to die….
