LAND IS NOT
YOUR LAND….
This
Land is not your Land, this Land is not my Land!
From
the Canadian Border, to the Mexico Border!
No
More Redwood Forests, because the soil is in the Gulf Stream Waters!
This
Land is not made for you and me!
As
I was walking on a Gravel Dirt Highway,
I
saw above me, the Grayest Skyway!
I
saw below me a Death Valley!
This
Land was not made for you and me!

I’ve
roamed in ruins, as I follow their footsteps,
To
their Nuclear Sands of their Diamond Deserts!
And
all around me a voice was chanting,
This

sun was not shining as I was walking!

War Flags waving and the Nuclear Dust Rolling!
As
the Nuclear was lifting a voice come chanting,

And
he said, “No trespassing here!”
On
the other side of the Ocean,
It
did not say nothing!
Now
was this side made for you and me?

the squares of their cities, the shadows of the Native American Indians

there!
Near
their White House Office, I see my people dead there!
And
now some are grumbling, and some wonder why?
If
this Land is still the Native American Indians’ Dreams?

as the Redwood Forest now lay in ruins,

as they try to conquer more Nations,
More
Tribes will be dying!
